Charlie Wilson's War - REVIEW
- well paced, and the script does a good job of condensing the novel.
- Tom Hanks, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, and Amy Adams are all good, but I'm not sure if I'd call them award worthy (Hoffman comes closest though...).
- Julia Roberts isn't BAD, but her accent is a bit weak and distracting....and her makeup isn't terribly flattering either.
Overall: a film that really doesn't have many flaws, but simply can't be called "great" either. However, it's very good and (most importantly) it is very satisfying.
Grade: B/B+
Nominations: none.
Number of 2007 films seen: 50
