St. Louis Gateway Critics award winners

the name sounds familiar, so perhaps they released nominees a while ago...anyway, the winners are

BEST PICTURE:
NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN

BEST ACTRESS:
ELLEN PAGE - JUNO
Runner Up - Marion Cotillard - La Vie en Rose

love it love it love it.

BEST ACTOR:
DANIEL DAY-LEWIS - THERE WILL BE BLOOD
Runner Up - Don Cheadle --Talk to Me

Day-Lewis isn't surprising at all but I thought everyone one had forgotten about Talk To Me. Apparently not.

BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS:
AMY RYAN - GONE BABY GONE
Runner Up - Cate Blanchett - I'm Not There

BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR:
CASEY AFFLECK - THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD
Runner Up - Phillip Seymour Hoffman - Charlie Wilson's War

so....I can see Affleck, but Hoffman? He might have a stronger chance than I thought he did.

BEST DIRECTOR:
ETHAN AND JOEL COEN - NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN
Runner Up - Paul Thomas Anderson - There Will Be Blood
