Universal Pictures is considering turning “Wanted” into a trilogy. The idea is to make at least 2 more movies, with the James McAvoy character of Wesley teaming up with the Terrance Stamp character to take down other Fraternity organizations. According to Cinema Blend, the plan is to bring both Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman back through flashbacks, showing how Sloan recruited Fox, and showing the man who originally trained Fox. That man will be the villian of the next movies. The general idea is to take “Wanted” international, which will open up story possibilites.
I really don't think any sequels are necessary at all, but hey, a Hollywood sequel is still better than a Hollywood remake.......right??
