Online Film Critics ring in the new year

Nothing too unexpected here, although the constant placement of Hailee Steinfeld in supporting when it's HER story and she's in nearly EVERY scene is troubling. As much as I'd like to see Steinfeld score a nomination with the Academy, if she lands in supporting, she could take a slot from a performance that actually belongs in the category. As for the rest of the winners, they fall relatively in line with the rest of the critics groups so far. One question that remains though is the original screenplay category. Most critics groups don't distinguish between original and adapted, and since The Social Network has nearly swept, there's no telling what original screenplays are at the front of the race for that category.
