So, this is the OFFICIAL trailer for The Golden Compass, the first book in Phillip Pullman's (deservedly) acclaimed trilogy. I could rant on and on about how amazing this is, but I'll just summarize. 1. Nicole Kidman is unspeakably perfect for the villain. 2. The costumes/art direction is brilliant 3. the action hasn't been toned down to make it too kiddie friendly (the film has a PG-13 rating). December 7th can't get here soon enough!
